Bal Vatika
Balvatika aims to provide a holistic learning environment for children through a blend of educational, cultural, and recreational activities. The recent session included a variety of engaging activities that focused on cognitive development, creativity, physical fitness, and social skills.
Activities Conducted
Art and Craft Objective: To enhance creativity and fine motor skills.
Description: Children participated in making ant by fingers prints painting, making creatures with the shapes of alphabets and clay modelling of vegetables and fruits.
Outcome: Children displayed high levels of creativity and enthusiasm.
Educational activities Objective: To improve listening and comprehension skills.
Description: self introduction of students and greetings to each other, story telling sessions, identification of animals by analysing their sounds.
Outcome: Children were highly engaged and interactive, asking questions and sharing their own interpretations of the stories.
Psychomotor activities Objective: To improve psychomotor movements
Description: School tour of students to familiarise them with school environment, Walking on zig – zag line by balancing the ball,
Outcome: The children actively participated. It also provided them a healthy dose of physical activity.
Feedback children expressed enjoyment and satisfaction with the activities, particularly favoring the art and craft and psychomotor activities.
Parents’ Feedback: Parents appreciated the variety of activities and the focus on both educational and physical development. They noted positive changes in their children’s creativity and social skills.
